Hoa, Dang Le
Hoa Le Dang is a lecturer and a researcher at the Faculty of Economics, Nong Lam University, Vietnam, and an EfD research fellow. She received her Ph.D. at the University of Adelaide, Australia in 2014. Her major is agricultural and natural resource economics. She works across a range of disciplines within agriculture, environment, and development.
Research interests
Her research interests primarily focus on adaptation to climate change in agriculture, environmental valuation, and environmental issues in developing countries. Some of her previous projects include willingness to pay for the preservation of Lo Go – Xa Mat National Park in Vietnam; the attitude and behavior of rice farmers in response to climate change in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam; gender-differentiated impacts of climate change and adaptation strategies: The case of Mekong Delta, Vietnam.
Mentoring
Supervised more than twenty master students, 1 Ph.D. student; Provided mentoring for a small research project.
