Freund, Richard

Richard is a PhD candidate in economics at the University of Cape Town, a Research Associate at MIDE Development, and a Research Affiliate at the Oxford Department of International Development (Young Lives). He holds an MSc in Economics for Development from the University of Oxford, and his research interests are in applied development microeconomics, with a particular focus on human capital (labour, education, health). His research has been published in the Journal of Development Economics, World Bank Economic Review, and Journal of Development Studies, among other outlets.
