The EfD Initiative is pleased to announce its partnership with Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) in organizing the Green Growth Knowledge Platform’s (GGKP) Fourth Annual Conference on the theme Transforming Development.
The partnership includes the involvement of EfD Central America Director Francisco Alpizar as the co-chair of the Review Committee and 14 reviewers from the EfD Network to join the Review Panel. Alpízar is also a member of the GGKP newly launched Behavioural Insights Research Committee. The conference forms a major part of the Global Green Growth Week 2016 (GGGW2016) to be held from 5-9 September 2016 at the International Conventional Centre in Jeju Island in the Republic of Korea.
The Conference will draw together and engage the world’s leading researchers, practitioners and policy makers in a number of plenary and parallel sessions in discussions that:
- Deliver the latest findings on policies and practices that stimulate inclusive green growth;
- Identify priorities for action by stakeholders to pursue the most promising policies and practices; and
- Build practitioner skills and define future research, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration opportunities to promote pro-poor inclusive green growth.
The Green Growth Knowledge Platform is the pursuit of economic development in an environmentally sustainable manner which goes hand to hand with EfD’s mission.
