Climate policy in a polarized world

Around the world, societies are torn by discussions about the economic effects of climate policy measures. The fight against climate change can only be won if the international community takes developments such as rising inequality into account. Just like in the western world, attempts to reform climate policy in the global south encounter a politicized and increasingly polarized society that is is divided by growing inequality.
