Podcasts about the benefits of air quality and the value of sustainable fishing in Colombia

EfD Colombia has released two new podcasts on environmental and natural resource economics. In the first podcast, researcher Fernando Carriazo talks with journalist Carolina García about about the relation between the price of households and air quality in Bogotá. These results are relevant for policy makers, because they work as an input for the evaluation of the benefits of air quality and the costs of monitoring and air cleaning. In the second podcast, researcher Juan Camilo Cárdenas talks about how much consumers, fishermen and sellers value a less polluted fish and sustainable fishing practices. He also discusses the consequences of the increase in fish consumption on health and marine biodiversity. Both podcasts are in Spanish and it is possible to hear them here.
