Update on program for EfD's Annual Meeting

Four eminent keynote speakers, one per day from Monday to Thursday, will make presentations at 14:00-15:00 CET/UTC+1 each day of the meeting. The keynote speakers are:

Farzana AfridiUrvashi NarainMenale Kassie and Jan Steckel (follow the links to read more about each of them!).

There will also be five parallel session presentations (four sessions for paper presentations and one session for proposal presentations) each day from Monday to Friday. Time 15:00-17:00 CET/UTC +1 each day.

The parallel session presentations will comprise of proposals and research papers covering EfD thematic areas such as agriculture, air quality, biodiversity, carbon pricing, climate change, conservation, energy, experiments, fisheries, forestry, gender, health, land, policy design, urban, waste and water.

Finally, the General assembly is on Friday 14:00-15:00 CET/UTC +1

The EfD Annual Meeting is the largest annual conference in the Global South on the application of environmental economics to development. Don’t miss this opportunity to take part of high-quality research on urgent topics.

The EfD Annual Meeting this year will be virtual due to COVID-19 pandemic, on November 16-20, 2020, at 14:00-17:00 CET/UTC +1.

The virtual meeting is open to the public (that is, no conference fee). However, participants would have to register before the conference. The link for registration will be sent out soon.
