Nunoo, Isaac

Isaac Nunoo is a PhD candidate in EPRU, at the School of Economics, University of Cape Town (UCT).

His research interests include energy, environment and land economics, as well as macro and monetary economics. He is working with Prof Edwin Muchapondwa in areas of electricity efficiency and renewable energy using impact evaluation and choice experiment.

Nunoo has previously worked as a lecturer at Bluecrest University in Ghana, and was a teaching and research assistant at the University of Cape Coast. As a research assistant, Nunoo worked with senior lecturers on two research projects for the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Ghana. The projects included “Background Studies on Agriculture and Agro-processing Sector in Ghana” and “Background Studies on Infrastructure Sector in Ghana”. Recently, Nunoo was among a selected few students who took part in the Land Economics and Governance fellowship organised at UCT with support from World bank, GIZ, and AERC.
