Event Information
The Poverty Reduction, Equity, and Growth Network (PEGNet) conference 2011 on poor countries, poor people, and the new global players will be held at the German Institute of Global and Area Studies (GIGA), Hamburg, Germany, September 7 to 9, 2011.
The Conference will again provide a platform for high-level dialogue between development researchers, practitioners and policy-makers. It will feature parallel sessions based on invited and contributed papers and project presentations. These will be complemented by a debate, a roundtable discussion, and keynote speeches by renowned speakers from academia, economic policy and development practice.
In addition, the PEGNet Best Practice Award will be awarded for the third time to best-practices in cooperation between researchers and practioners.
