As project assistant, you will support projects in each of EfD’s core activities. A key task will be to assist in the preparation for the external evaluation of the EfD Program to be conducted in 2019. You will also be actively involved in the development of indicators for EfD as a network and its centers, EfD’s annual research cycle, as well as supporting the organization of international gatherings including EfD's Annual Meeting. In addition, you will take part in the development of new proposals and collaborative engagements.
This position will have a dual role as researcher and manager of EfD-research. As a researcher, the selected candidate should conduct high quality research in environmental economics, climate economics and development economics, with a special focus on issues related to poverty and sustainability in the developing world.
The job assignment focuses on the development of capacity building programs within the EfD network (3CDE – Collaborative program on Climate Change and Development Economics). It includes applied research, particularly on teacher training and the development of curricula, learning platforms and other learning tools
