The EfDT organized a training workshop to civil servants drawn from different ministries and departments.
The 4 days training focus on the basic environment economics and natural resources management tools was held at the University of Dar es Salaam TUKI conference room from 8th to 11th January 2009. The ministries and department which manage to send participant was the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs, Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism, Ministry of Energy And Minerals, Ministry of Forestry and Beekeeping, Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries, National Environment Management Counsel and Vice President Office department of environment.
EfDT research fellows Dr. Lokina, Dr. Mduma and Dr. A. Mkenda were the key presenters. The Head of Department of Economics Dr. L Rutasitara and the National Environment Management Counsel representative Mr. Mapinduzi were invited for presentation to share some experience.
