Vieider, Ferdinand

Ferdinand Vieider is an excellence fellow at Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, Germany. He holds a masters degree in international relations and a masters of science in economics, and obtained his PhD in economics from the Econometrics Institute at Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2009. Before taking up his position in Munich, Ferdinand was a CNRS researcher at GATE in Lyon, and worked as a consultant for the Climate Policy Initiative in Berlin. His main research interests lie in decision making under risk and uncertainty, and behavioral economics more in general, and in how to apply insights from those disciplines to environmental and development issues.
