Musembi, Elly

Elly Musembi is the Data Manager and a junior research fellow at EfD-Kenya. He has been an active member of EfD-Kenya since 2019, consistently contributing to various research projects conducted at the Centre. Elly earned his master's and bachelor's degrees from the Department of Economics and Development Studies at the University of Nairobi.

With a robust background in research, Elly has garnered extensive experience in diverse areas such as climate change, agriculture, energy, and the blue economy. His research focus spans multiple domains, including renewable energy, energy transitions, agriculture, and climate change (covering topics like carbon farming, carbon tax in the agricultural sector, and climate-smart farming), circular economy, and rural poverty.

Elly Musembi is also pursuing his PhD at the Department of Economics and Development Studies at the University of Nairobi. His dedication to advancing knowledge and understanding in these critical areas underscores his commitment to meaningful contributions to economics and sustainable development.
